Denise M. Henderson
Denise Henderson is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Square One Organics. Denise started Square One after a long successful career in the financial futures industry at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. The trading floor provided fertile ground for Denise’s entrepreneurial spirit, quality customer service, and risk management skills. These skills combined with Denise’s desire to provide her children with pure-nutritionally dense foods are the foundation for Square One Organics. Denise earned her Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The University of Illinois at Champaign in 1987. She currently resides in River Forest, Illinois with her husband, Jeff, and the twins.
Jeffrey T. Henderson
Jeffrey T. Henderson is Director of logistics for Square One Organics. Jeff is also a commodities trader on the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Jeff earned his B.A.in Government and International Studies from The University of Notre Dame in 1989. Jeff shares Denise’s commitment to purposeful pure foods teamed with an easy to follow nutrition approach. Jeff is also a musician and the creative force behind the Square One children’s CD.
Mari Monaco Hynes
Mari Hynes is Square One’s Director of Communications. Mari is also a licensed attorney and an adjunct professor at Northwestern Business College where she teaches classes in law, writing and communications. Before joining Square One, Mari was a commercial litigator at Sonnenschein, Nath & Rosenthal in Chicago. Mari earned her J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law in 1996 and her B.A. in Political Science from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio in 1993. She is currently completing her Masters in Teaching at National Louis University. Mari lives in Chicago, Illinois with her husband, Matt, and their dog, Fred. Mari and Matt are expecting their own Square One baby in February!
Kathy Krueger
Kathy Krueger joins Square One Organics as its Director of Accounting. A Chicago native, Kathy has received her BS in Accounting from DePaul University and has 20 years experience in corporate accounting and personal income tax service. Kathy maintains a gluten-free lifestyle and supports Square One Organics in its efforts to provide consumers with nutritional organic and flavorful food choices.
Tamara Taylor
Director of Marketing
Tamara has over 20 years of experience in the marketing and special events industry. She has worked with fortune 500 companies helping with new product launches, field execution and green event design. Tamara is committed to the mission of always designing events that leave an imprint not a footprint and coined the phrase “Integrated Green”. In addition to her passion for brand strategies and event development, she is a social activist, zealous fundraiser and proud mother of three children.

Jacqueline King, MS, RD, FADA, CDE
Jacqueline King, MS, RD, FADA, CDE is our Square 1 Organics nutrition expert. Jacqueline King is a registered dietitian and certified diabetes educator who has a private practice in Glenview, Illinois seeing many children for nutrition related conditions. Jackie has worked as the pediatric dietitian at Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois and as the research dietitian at the Diabetes in Pregnancy Center at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Chicago. She has worked in the area of pediatrics and child obesity during her entire career.
Dr. Sai R. Nimmagadda, MD
Dr. Sai R. Nimmagadda, MD is Square One’s consulting pediatrician and allergy and immunology expert. For the past 12 years Dr. Nimmagadda has been an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Northwestern University Medical School. He practices Allergy/Immunology with Associated Allergists and Asthma Specialists, Ltd. and is a contributing faculty member at Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Nimmagadda has been recognized for excellence in teaching, patient care and research and has published over 25 articles in numerous areas including pediatric allergy, immunology and asthma. His special areas of interest include food allergies, asthma, allergic rhinitis, hives and immune deficiency. Dr. Nimmagadda currently serves as a member of the executive committee of the American Academy of Pediatrics (Illinois Chapter) and Illinois Allergy Asthma and Immunology Society.
